Basic battery information would help! Review by Redrackham
1=poor 5=excellent There are no markings on the battery or information sheet included giving information on polarity. If you have bad luck like me you will place it in position pre-soldering the wrong way around and fry the circuit board (which only took a second or two). After that throw your shaver away and keep the battery for what??
Shaver Outlet note: as stated on the item page, installation requires a certain level of expertise. If you are not familiar enough with industrial batteries to know which end is positive or negative, it may not be in your best interest to attempt this repair. (Posted on 4/14/2017) -
Good replacement battery Review by Bob
1=poor 5=excellent Perfect fit. After installing the battery, I couldn't get the shaver to work. I bypassed the circuit board and connected the battery directly to the motor. The motor ran which proved the battery was OK. I removed the bypass and the shaver works normally. I guess he battery needed to wake up. It charges to 100 minutes and has been working ever since. All good Review by Anthony
1=poor 5=excellent I have ZERO solder skills, and my first attempt was with the batteries in the wrong polarity position! A real Homer Simpson move. I got them apart, and still managed to resoder everything back together. Its been a month and its working as new. The shaver holds a charge for a week before charging, longer actually. I am so glad to have “saved” an older and fav-o-rite razor from the dump. Oh, and as a bonus bolo, I screwed up and ordered the wrong part number/wrong battery and the company refunded as soon as I returned it (USPS) and they sent the correct one . . .so if I have any advise it is to CALL them first and make sure you are ordering correctly as it is easy to screw it up.
