Since I can only comment on the unit itself, I have to give it only a one-star rating. It will not activate to actually go through the cleaning cycle when the shaver indicator light comes on. The pump does not activate. It charges the unit just fine but the pump itself will NOT turn on to clean it. Buyer be ware.

Purchased my Braun Shaver in November of 2011.
Over time, with daily use, I had worn out the original Clean & Charge Base as well as the trimmer.
Considered buying another Braun Shaver but hated throwing away a shaver that was still operational.
