The rive unit on my Braun series 9 was so loud that it was beginning to bother my ears when I shaved. Reading the experience of the other reviewers, I got the courage to order the part. The ordering process was very easy, the parts came on time and the installation went well (there a few YouTube videos on how to disassemble the unit). The shaver is now quiet and it performs similar to when it was new. Very happy with the outcome.

I also ordered a new battery and replaced it at the same time. Back to over 60 minute shaving time.

I have to mention that the customer service is wonderful. I had contacted the customer service and they were prompt in responding to my multiple technical inquiries. They know their stuff.

Once my razor cartridge got louder during my use of it, I was "warned" that replacement of my motor drive needed to be replaced. Since my 9S Braun was expensive to buy, I looked into replacing the motor drive and found it cheaper to buy than buying a new one. So, I ordered it.

By looking in YouTube, I found an instructional video showing step-by-step instructions on installing the motor drive, which I carefully followed with caution: once you break a part, you are done! Well, I finished installing the motor drive which it wasn't difficult to do. I, then cleaned it, turned it on: GOOD AS NEW!

My 5 year old series 9 razor was rattling and very noisy. It only occurred with the head attached; and swapping in a new one didn’t help. I was unable to find d a local repair center: so purchased this new motor drive. I had to order a $10 set of repair tools with a T6 and T8 driver from Amazon, but with a little help from YouTube I saved about $200 over a new razor. The part was of excellent quality with the razor now performing as if new. (Posted on 10/27/2021)
