New trimmer assembly(s) for a Braun 70s Shavers made it possible to save a lot of money in replacement costs for a new shaver. The instructions on the website on how to R&R my existing shavers were detailed and easy to understand. The mechanism for closing the trimmer had failed so I purchased a new one from shaver outlet. I was able to replace my old trimmer with the new one after following the excellent instructional videos from shaver outlet. (Posted on 3/25/2024)

I sent an older Braun Series 7 shaver in for repair mostly because it had sentimental value The trimmer was broken and the insides were beyond dirty.
The shaver was returned in like new condition. I'm very pleased with the new trimmer and the service at Shaver Outlet. (Posted on 3/24/2024)

Good quality part. You just have to be careful with the installation. I pushed a little (OK maybe a lot) too hard and broke the frame trying to slide the trimmer in. I managed to get the old and new one apart, salvage the frame from the old one and reassemble. It was a real challenge.

I found a couple of sellers who carry the trimmer part. At least one other one linked to Shaver Outlet's video with replacement instructions. That told me that Shaver Outlet was the way to go. If I had problems, these were the people most likely to be able to help me. As it turned out, I did not have problems.

I'll admit it took me a little longer than the guy in the video to dismantle the shaver, replace the part, and reassemble it, but this was my first time doing it. The guy in the video had probably done it a few dozen times. Anyway, after assembling the shaver, it worked on the first try! (Posted on 2/7/2024)
