1=poor 5=excellent My shaver is old but excellent. The Head Holder broke and I have had no end of difficulties finding a replacement. By accident I chanced across ShaverOutlet and found what looked perfect, not a second but new. Something I could not even get from Philips. The mechanism for inserting the head holder into the body of the shaver was the only problem. The mechanism has a pressure plate and it took some time, and fear, to push it into place, so a small bearing kept it there. But with some fussing it worked - and continues to work well. Great option. Shaver Outlet will be used by me again as first choice. Thank you. (Posted on 6/14/2022)

Good fit for 8240 XL Review by Dan
1=poor 5=excellent Happy with the purchase. The only issue was the metal hinge would not fit into the slot. It was a little too thick, which I believe was intentional so that it would fit on the many other 8200 series shavers, but a very simple fix of sliming down the hinge with a gentle squeeze of the metal with a pair of needle nose pliers until it fit. It took all of a minute to adjust. After which, it worked great. Also purchased the head retainer and it is as good as new. I would buy it again and would recommend the purchase to anyone with basic mechanical skills. (Posted on 3/20/2022)
