Protective cap is fine. This is the second time I had to order a replacement cap
in the 6 years that I had my razor. They are fragile and on both occasions that
I had to replace the cap it was because it slipped out of my hand and hit my
bathroom tile floor and it broke. I just will have to be more careful in the future.
