Plastic protective cap works perfectly for the 9000 series if you slide it over the head from the side and remove it also from the side. If you try to take it off from the top of the shaver head, it is all too easy to pull the shaver heads off. Putting it on from the top is also problematic. You may end up breaking the plastic protective cap.
