    My Norelco 9000 Series shaver was making rasping noises and it was taking more battery life to finish a shave. Clearly the bottom part of the shaving unit (the part that holds the blades on its top, and plugs into the shaver on its bottom end) was having problems. Couldn't find a replacement part on Norelco's site, and found shaveroutlet.com's website with a Google search. Found what I needed easily on their well-designed site, ordered it, and had the genuine Norelco replacement part within about 3 or 4 (yes) days. Great to know about shaveroutlet.com for any future needs. (Posted on 3/18/2020)

    My Series 9 Norelco shaver was making noises and the head came off too easily. The replacement part fit better, keeping the head on, however the noise continued.     My Series 9 Norelco shaver was making strange noises while I shaved and the head was frequently coming off the body of the shaver when applying light pressure while shaving. After doing some research on the internet, I found I could correct the problem by replacing the bottom of the shaving unit, the portion between the body of the unit and the piece that holds the shaver blades. Installation was easy and the Series 9 shaver is back to operating as it should. New life for my shaver! (Posted on 6/1/2019)
