I'm so glad I found out about this as an option rather than buying a new shaver. It was easy and fun to switch out the battery and my old shaver works better than it has for a long time. No electronics going into the landfill since I didn't throw away my hold shaver. A LOT cheaper and as i've said, it was fun putting the new battery in. Plus the staff was helpful when I called. The battery was an exact replacement for my shaver. If you can't solder, then you should have it replace by a professional. Taking the shaver apart was very easy with the screwdriver access tool I also purchased. It was easy replacement as I have lots of circuit board soldering experience. Be careful, it would be easy to damage the circuit board by over heating or getting solder in the wrong place. Make sure you look at the + and - ends of the old battery before removing it. I didn't and had to sort of guess at its orientation and guessed correctly. (Posted on 12/16/2013)
