So far my wife has given me two haircuts with the kit. The clipper is solid. I oiled it before the first use and before/after each use since. It is as quiet and smooth as the one my barber uses (so far).

The length adjuster level is flimsy plastic level and could used a better design to make it less flexible. It feels like it will snap when used.

The kit comes with guards 1/2, 1-8, and left/right ear, and others. Nice selection and no issue using them.

The scissors that come with the kit are cheap and horrible and grab hair. You will need something else. The cape is like a cheap kitchen garbage bag, but it works. The storage box is as flimsy as they get. I have had other Wahl kits and they always came in much more sturdy boxes.

The real reason I am giving it 3 stars is that the clipper appeared to be used because there were some small hairs inside of it. Maybe my kit was refurbished, but I bought it as new.

All in all I wish I would have bought a higher end clipper with guards and that came with no accessories.

Shaver Outlet note: Wahl makes it clear in the user manual that the blades are tested on a synthetic hairlike material in the factory and there may be some remnants of this one the blades.
